- anatoli comes off as an outgoing, cheerful man. he is one who will run up and bear hug you till your ribs crack. anatoli is always laughing at everything, as if everything is hilarious. he will claim that if you cannot laugh at things or yourself, then life is miserable. whether cheery by nature, or because of the drugs, anatoli is overall a good-natured individual. he isn't usually sure how to handle serious situations, it doesn't seem like he's capable of such a feat. but, he can always lighten things up and he will try his best to make the best out of a bad situation. he is a loyal companion, until you try and make him a lover. women are a weakness for anatoli. he cannot deny any woman what she wants and he cannot not flirt with them. anatoli is very protective of his brothers, friends, and the gang in general. he considers the entire gang his family.

- anatoli is the first child of three brothers. life was good for a while. alik and andrei came soon after him - all of them being exactly two years apart. anatoli and his family lived in poverty, struggling just to get by. their father was stressed, so much so that he turned to alcohol and became an alcoholic. he was a stern man, and when he drank, he turned violent. he would attack his wife, and anatoli, pulling at their hair, slamming them into things, and beating them with his hands, a belt, or sometimes even a stick. not wanting his brothers harmed, anatoli often took every beating his violent father threw out when his mother was unable to. he would hide his brothers, making sure they kept quiet until it was over and he came to get them. often, his mother would attempt to protect them, which ended in her being constantly beat up and weak. anatoli would try and protect her as well.

- the beatings led to scars on anatoli, ones that he keeps well hidden from the view of others, even his brothers. one day, his father, drunk and enraged as ever, took hold of their weak mother. anatoli was 6, alik 4, and andrei 2. anatoli curled against a wall with his brothers, whispering for them to cover their ears as he protected their eyes from the sight. but anatoli watched. he listened to the screams, which were louder and more pained than normal, and how his father seemed to be trying to rip her apart. then, his father pulled a gun out, pointing it to their mother as she looked toward them, opening her mouth to say what anatoli thought was 'run!' he shot her, shot her right in the head, and he kept shooting her. anatoli, frozen with terror, watched this happen until he felt his brothers flinching. coming back to reality, anatoli hurriedly moved his two younger siblings to their room and shoved them in the closet, ordering alik to lock the door and not come out till he came back. hearing his father coming, anatoli left the room to meet him, taking a slap to the face by the gun and allowing him to beat him.

- once it was over and his father had passed out on the couch, anatoli limped to the closet, taking his brothers and saying they could no longer stay here. he tried to manuver them so they'd not see their mother's body and the three fled the house into the cold night. needless to say, anatoli was traumatized by the experience, but shoved it deep into the back of his mind for his siblings. he walked with them, freezing in the night, along the streets of moscow. the three managed for a few days, but they were suffering bad. anatoli began to search for help, which he found in the finger puppets mafia. despite being so young, geni would not deny the orphans a place to stay. he assigned them to grigori dashkov, who has helped raise them since that day, as well as trained them.

- anatoli was now in unit z with his siblings. once they were old enough, they were officially initiated into the gang and began proper work. by then, anatoli had discovered his love of the drug marijuana - as it helped him relax. the vodka he drank made him forget. he enjoyed the two things quite a lot, and, as he grew, learned he enjoyed women as well. he had a soft spot for them, per say. he found it extremely hard to say no to a female, no matter what she asked. he worried his use of vodka would make him violent like his father, but found instead that he was an opposite. encouraged by this, he continued to use the substances, only fearing the reoccurring nightmares that plagued him since his mother's murder. his brothers, grateful he sacrificed so much for them and who loved him very much, watched after him and made sure he did nothing stupid when under the influence. they swore to always take care of him, just as he swore to always protect and care for them. this promise also spread out to everyone in the gang. the gang and his brothers soon became everything to anatoli - they were the one and only true family he had now.
