The earliest age accepted for training is 10-years-old, but there are exceptions, especially if the person joining is an orphan. Training, generally lasts 2-4 years, depending on the mentor. If a child has no home, a member may be assigned to raise and support that child.

Allies|
Brief History.
The gang was started in 1968 by an ambitious, 18-year-old man named Geni Ivanov. Starting with just himself and Grigori Dashkov, a fellow companion he'd earlier saved, the two took to the streets in search of people in need. In return for servcie in the gang, Geni would provide protection, shelter, and food for the individual and their family. His family having been well off, Geni was able to do this for quite a few people. But, it could not last without a bigger income of some sort. He soon turned to the Tambov Gang of Leningrad, who was in a bloody battle with Malyshev's Gang, and offered help in return for pay, shelter, or food.
Geni also looked into trade with other gangs, soon going to one he'd heard started in 1967 in Lithuania, Fantomai Lietuva. The two gangs traded until 1970, when a personal matter between the leaders split the gangs and they became enemies. Till this day, Fantomai Lietuva has been their most dangerous enemy.
Note, this gang is often peaceful. They will not go into battle unless provoked. They also support families that are too poor to support themselves, and will take in children who have no home.
